A Short Drive from La Cala
La Cala de Mijas is one of the most charming spots on this part of the coast: the beach, the old watchtower by the sea, the coastal boardwalk (the Senda Litoral) and a relaxed village feel that attracts locals and visitors from all over Europe. Oxygen Ink is just west along the coast in Calahonda, roughly 10 minutes by car, depending on traffic.
It's close enough to pop over for a consultation and far enough from the summer crowds to feel calm and private. The studio works with one client at a time, so you have the artist's full attention from the first sketch to the last line.
Getting Here from La Cala de Mijas
- By car: take the A-7 coast road west towards Marbella. Calahonda is the next main area along. The studio is at Avenida de España 24, 29649 Calahonda.
- By bus: coastal buses between Fuengirola and Marbella pass through both La Cala and Calahonda. Check the current timetable.
- By taxi: a short, simple ride.
