A Studio That Matches Elviria's Pace
Elviria and the Las Chapas area are some of the most relaxed parts of Marbella: wide beaches, pine trees, golf courses and quiet residential streets just off the coast road. Oxygen Ink fits that mood. It's a private studio, run by one master artist, working with one client at a time, in Calahonda, around 15 minutes east of Elviria by car.
Björn has been tattooing for more than 30 years. He founded Oxygen Ink in Cologne in 2003 and moved the studio to the Costa del Sol in 2024. Every design he tattoos is drawn by hand for the person wearing it.
Getting Here from Elviria
- By car: take the A-7 coast road east past Cabopino to Calahonda. The studio is at Avenida de España 24, 29649 Calahonda.
- By taxi: a straightforward ride along the coast.
- By bus: coastal buses run between Marbella and Fuengirola via Elviria and Calahonda. Check the timetable before you travel.

Sun Protection Matters Here
Elviria's beaches are some of the best on the coast, but strong sun is the main reason tattoos fade, especially delicate fine line work. Once your tattoo has healed, a high-SPF sunscreen will keep it sharp for years. During healing, keep it out of the sun and the sea for about two weeks. See the aftercare guide.
